The 4th of July, 2009

My sister Tasha and I did the 5k fun run on the morning of the 4th. It was my first race and probably my last, not that it wasn't "fun", it's just that I did it and I don't need to do it again. I much prefer to just exercising on my treadmill for as long as I want at a time with no pressure and I enjoy not feeling like my legs are going to fall off when I'm done!

We were so lucky to get to have my sister, Tasha and her kids and my mom come and visit us for the 4th of July weekend. We had tons of fun swimming, going to the parade and watching the fireworks!!
